Lexi Tayte (Alexis Wellech-Papillon) is a recent graduate of Moravian University with a BFA in Studio Art, whose work focuses on identity, expression, and fashion. She attended the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts as a Literary Arts major, and now her mediums involve textiles, paintings, and video work. Lexi has shown work at several Moravian exhibits, and her fashion pieces have been featured in wearable art and fashion shows local to Bethlehem, PA. While at Moravian, she worked as a Studio Assistant, Gallery Attendant, and Office Assistant within the Art Department. She spent time on the board of Moravian’s LGBTQA+ group Spectrum as a Secretary and Vice President, and was the President of the Art Club on campus. She was the 2022 recipient of The Daniel W. Tereshko Memorial Prize in Studio Art, and was Vice President of the Zeta Psi Chapter of Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society. Lexi spent the summer 2022 studying fashion in Florence, Italy through Arcadia University and Accademia Italiana. She intends to study for her Masters in Fashion beginning Fall of 2023.

Received an education in Florence, Italy for a two month period. This Fashion Intensive program included fashion illustration and fashion management courses.
Received a BFA in Studio Art. Studied painting, illustration and digital media, with a focus on textiles and screen printing.
Majored in Literary Arts. Studied courses that included public speaking, film, journalism, writing, and screenwriting as well as literature classes in Romantiscm, Modernism, and Children's Literature.
